Universal Testing
Client
Universal Testing commissioned several ancillary pieces to be developed for a series of trade shows they were attending. To hold the various marketing materials, Universal Testing wanted a presentation folder to be created.
The team at Universal had one request during the initial meeting, “No right angles or squares.”
To accommodate the client, I utilized a series of circles, triangles and diagonal lines throughout the marketing material. Copy was intentionally kept to a minimum so that the viewer would focus on the marketing materials inside the presentation folder.
As part of Universal Testing’s collateral marketing pieces, several flyers were developed to promote their services, including their newly formed aerial drone and drilling divisions, at trade shows.
I attempted to utilize Universal Testing’s request for, “No right angles or squares” to my advantage by strategically placing diagonal lines to help give a sense of vertical motion throughout all the pieces. A set of retractable banners were also created to be incorporated with Universal Testing’s existing tradeshow displays. A label was designed for bottles of hand sanitizers, which Universal utilized as a takeaway item.
